another Crank Punk Coaching Systems victory!

yowzers, another win for a CPCS client – well, three wins!

Rafael Leyson Amorganda, 28, from Bais City in the Philippines took 4th place in the opening TT at the Aboitiz Power Tour of Subic, then won the hilly 2nd stage in a two-man sprint by a sliver of rubber, then went on to outsprint the leading pack on the all-uphill final stage to take home two stage wins and the GC.

when Rafael came to me for coaching his weaknesses were “endurance, a lack of power and slow on the flat,” so, we worked on these to turn them into strengths. he’s come on in leaps and bounds thanks to a lot of hard work and an intelligent attitude to recover and recuperation, and darn it if he isn’t turning out to be a fine all-round bike rider.

and a winner.

congratulations Rafa, we reap what we sow! crank on!
