HARVEY DAWKINS ON AMAZING AMERICANS

A mutual friend suggested I get in touch with Harvey as he might be interested in joining my Sponsored Athlete Coaching Programme.

‘Why Harvey?’ I asked.

‘Great guy, works his ass off, smashes people on the bike, wants to do an Ironman… and oh yeah, he has had Cerebral Palsy since he was a kid…’

A Skype call a week later and that was that. Everything our friend said about him was right, and he did get that Ironman done too.

Harvey never complains about anything, he is always humble, he gives his time freely and serves as an inspiration to all people, especially to kids who are going through similar difficulties.

On the bike, he says he feels free, and isn’t that why we all do it too? Physically, mentally, emotionally, it doesn’t matter, we all go there for the same thing.

In this podcast he is interviewed about his childhood, his life and racing career, and it is very mush definitely worth a listen.

Get ready to be humbled…

Well done Harvey, mi amigo!
