TAIWAN / CYCLING PARADISE

Taiwan has a hard time marketing itself. There are many factors as to why this is the case which I needn’t go into here, but suffice to say that if the tourist board shifted to feature the outdoors more they’d be heading in the right direction.

With several national parks, some incredible beaches and 100 peaks over 3000m, Taiwan should be a mecca for those who love the outdoors.

Yet it isn’t, and that is a real shame.

Anyway, here are some photos from recent rides that in some way I hope show something of this beauty. All these were taken in the last two weeks in the Yangmingshan National Park above Taipei, with an iPhone 12.
