GRAVEL CYCLING IN PAI, THAILAND

Decided to spend three months in Thailand, originally intending to base myself in Chiangmai, which is up north. Then rode to Pai, a little village famed for its beauty and hippies, a 124km trip with some serious uphills, not too much fun with a 11kg gravel bike loaded up with another 7kg in bags!

Was supposed to be here for 3 days, it’s now 9, and I’ve just booked a little hut for 4 weeks.

Such is the way it goes. Why did I decide to stay here?

The off-road cycling. It’s simply stellar. And I’ve barely touched the surface.

Here’s a little video of a downhill section I rode yesterday, a longer video is in the works in a series I’ll be doing from here.

I’m here til mid-February, if anyone wants to come out and ride just let me know!
