He talks about how little he enjoyed the Tour he won and how he’s aiming for Paris-Roubaix in 2015. And about his Nan used to urinate in her pants when she was cycling.

I think the worst was when the camera panned on his wife and you could tell she was embarrassed for him, maybe nerves on going on a big show?
well i think i was a bit harsh, i’m not that ‘tidy’ a person either, i can only imagine how hard it must be to try to soothe the nerves and go out there and try to be charming and interesting. fair play to him really, we must also remember he is one of us – a dude who spends hours alone riding up hills and into headwinds and through rain and all what have you, then he has to suddenly turn all ‘celeb’ with a snap of the fingers. and let’s face it, he was funnier than say Alberto or Froome ever could be 😉

He has said before that he doesn’t like the term celebrity, it doesn’t sit well with him but he was quite funny when he was goading the guy next to him 🙂
