Hot or… not?

Check out the new Attaquer OrbKnit Balaclava — a 3D-knitted balaclava that you can even wear over your helmet for extra winter warmth. 

It uses high-tech fabric (it’s never low-level is it?) with ‘strategic ventilation zones; to balance insulation, breathability, and moisture management — and Attaquer say it is perfect for cold-weather cycling.

I’d probably say it works really well as a normal balaclava, and I like the mouthy vent, but… over the helmet?

The ‘spider-web’ style perforations at the crown release heat, blurb Attaquer, while a ribbed brow panel wicks away moisture.

Online reaction has been mixed, some saying it is a great idea, whilst one person said:

‘Great for when you have a club ride in the morning and need to rob a bank own the way home!’
