Stijn Deferme is a Belgian man living in Taoyuan, Taiwan. A friend of mine for almost 10 years, he’s also a quite awesome engineer and designer, focusing his talents on all things cycling and bicycles.

His brand is Stijn Cycles, and his latest venture is what may well be the most innovative mini-velo bike out there.

A small bike that’s big in Japan, and, with a bit more understanding of what it is and how it was all put together, in a few other places too I hope.
