Where to start?
The welds? The rear triangle? The matt black forks? That swashbuckling in-your-face-and-no-apologies-for-it slab of a head tube?

Can we call it a headslab?

Wherever we start, I’m liking this a lot.
If you haven’t heard of them, Chiru Bikes is a titanium bicycle brand founded by French engineer and ultra-endurance racer Pierre-Arnaud Le Magnan.
Named after the hardy Tibetan antelope, Chiru has built its reputation around titanium bikes for bikepacking, ultra-distance racing and adventurous riding.
Chiru frames have featured in the French Divide, Silk Road Mountain Race and many other arduous adventure races – the perfect testing grounds for a frame builder.

The new Aerix is Chiru’s first dedicated aero road bike and marks a major step beyond its usual endurance focus. And it is, in our opinion, a strikingly beautiful frame.
Built from 3Al/2.5V titanium tubing with 3D-printed titanium junctions, the frame aims to combine aerodynamic efficiency with the comfort titanium is known for. It features an integrated ENVE Melee aero fork, hidden cable routing and a distinctive double-profile seat tube to smooth airflow.

Despite its race-oriented shape, the Aerix remains practical: it fits max 32 mm tyres, supports electronic groupsets from Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo, and includes mounts for bags and bottles for long-distance riding.
Chiru describes it as “the essence of speed” without the harshness typical of many aero bikes – and we want one! The Aerix frame is available for 4365 of your euros – and if you need swaying away from carbon for your next bike – it comes with a lifetime warranty.
