New YouTube Video! How I Turned Pro at 37! Part One.

This took me ages, this editing lark is as tiring as some of my races!

In this video, I detail my cycling journey from 15-18 years old, the intervening years when I did not ride, race or even own a road bike, and how an impulse buy of a Trek 1000 with Shimano 105 at 36, when I was living in Japan, led me to a pro contract at 37.

I ended up racing on the UCI Asia Tour circuit for 4 years, took part in the post-Tour de France crits in Belgium and Holland alongside Cavendish, Andy Schleck, Tony Martin, Lars Boom, Laurens Ten Dam and Tom Dumoulin, and raced the tours of Oman and Qatar in 2012 with Peter Sagan, Cancellara, Boonen and Gilbert.

It was, to say the least, quite a ride. Hope you enjoy!
