Graham really is a top bloke. The kind of guy cycling is really made of. Saw him talk about beastie last year in keswick. His book is amazing too. Using a fixed wheel bike for hilly time trials in scotland – complete with handlebars wrong way up. Can’t imagine softies like wiggo doing that without gears!

Reckon the beastie needs stabilization. Wonder if he has considered using disks instead of wheels to get the gyro effect, or a horizontal gyro even?

Just one thing I dont agree.
I for one will never forget Nicole Cooke- One of the most exciting riders ever! I watched her in the flesh at the road race for commonwealths near Manchester, I saw her fall off on a slippy corner in Rivington at the base of a hill near the finish. The lead pack got away, she got up, dusted herself down, and in a burst of adrenalin , anger and gold hair, she caught up at least 30 seconds, , passed them and took the title. Her olympic title the best of olympics that year! It was shameful how brailsford and co, decided to favour armistead after that, because she was ” in the program” LA only won the UK title because her trade team ganged up on Nicole.

    She posts on twitter, not very often, but might see it if you tweet her.
    
    BTW realised I said something ambiguous! by “in the programme” I meant in the UK cycling programme based in manchester (not the other kind!) Nicole was never a part of that system or a product of it, like some of our current starts (take laura trott) , indeed Nicole pre-dated it to some extent: and it worked against her.
    
    Had you thought of doing podcasts rather than typed interviews? They get a better following on mobiles because they dont rely on reading small text and can be listened to whilst driving. In a different sphere that is how for example iancorless does his talk ultra series , getting different ultra runners onto the calls.
