we were all lead to believe that this was just a little scrape of parked cars on the way home so hey, no big deal, …. but as with everything Lance the truth is much bigger.. that’s a full on American SUV truck with is ‘hood’ folded !!

I watched a Youtube video of the 1997 TdF while I was working this weekend and it just made me…sad? Amused? Riis, Ulrich, Zabel, Vironque, Zulle, every name mentioned was a shamed doper except Robby McEwen. My favorite(?) part was towards the end when a Festina rider won a stage and Ligget talked about Festina being happy to “end on a high note”. You just can’t make this stuff up! I loved watching it at the time and I’ll be glued to it again this summer. I’m such a tool. Screw you, Lance!

I was done by ’92, and I feel kind of thankful for that, though i did start watching again just before he came back, that was painful enough. And yes, i’ll be watching too… do we never learn?!
