A pretty nice, decent bike at a price cheaper than a second mortgage?! No way!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ok excuse the sarcasm, but\u2026 well, you get me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is the good looking, brand\u2011new 2026 aluminium Cinelli Zydeco Washboard, with some weird ‘cool’ photography that probably isn’t meant to put you off buying one, but just might.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, designed as a versatile gravel bike that\u2019s just as happy on daily commutes as it is on rough trails, this Italian\u2011engineered ride comes in two versions: the Sport (below) at \u20ac2,300 and the Allday at \u20ac1,500 \u2014 like I said, decent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cinelli\u2019s gravel bikes get their \u2018Zydeco\u2019 name from the up-tempo music genre that originated in Louisiana. The music is often played with a washboard, which yeah, is a bit <\/em>weird. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has thoughtful features like tons of mounts for racks and gear to modern clearance for up to 45\u202fmm tyres, which is really good – would make a good ‘bad weather’ gravel bike for the serious folk and a great starter for a beginner. The bikes come with Shimano Cues entry-level groupset, which ain’t all that bit, it ain’t nothing either. Weight is around 10.5kg, which unless you are racing is ok, a good workout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
