vive le ITT!

ITTs are, generally, boring. not the actual results but more the action itself – unless of course it was planned by a mad Italian and goes up 27% inclines, then they are brilliant.

but yesterday’s TT was fascinating in that we got to see a tall, skinny arsed machine destroy the race – and I am not talking about Tony Martin.

let the forums blaze… read all about it here.

  1. Did you note that the Discovery record for the fastest TTT was set on a 50+km course vs a much shorter course for the TTT this year?

Froome’s distancing of the best of the rest is interesting in that the best of the rest are all relatively similar in effort and time… you would think that anything he knows about the supposedly superior training techniques, Rogers took with him to Saxo which in theory would benefit Bertie… and yet…

    1. Hi ED, yes i did note the difference in distances, man Discovery were FLYING. wonder how? And also agree, the race for 2nd to 5th is very tight after 11 days of racing, more like a flat tour than the Tour de France.
